Dawnice at Power & Elec Uganda 2026: Three Days of Connection, Collaboration, and Energy Innovation

2026-07-18
1. A Dynamic Presence at East Africa's Premier Energy Expo
From July 9 to 11, 2026, Dawnice proudly participated in the 4th edition of the Power & Elec Uganda International Exhibition, held at the Multi-Purpose Hall, UMA Show Grounds, Kampala. As Uganda's largest international exhibition for power, energy, electrical, and renewable sectors, the event brought together over 100 exhibitors from 8+ countries and attracted thousands of trade professionals across East Africa.

Under the theme "Scaling Energy 10x: Technology, Sustainability, and Global Impact," we engaged with industry leaders, policymakers, and decision-makers shaping Uganda's and the broader East African region's energy future.
2. Showcasing Dawnice's Lithium Battery Solutions
At our booth, we showcased our full range of energy storage solutions, including:
Wall-mounted home battery systems (5kWh–20kWh) — compact, reliable, and IP54-rated for residential use
High-voltage stackable batteries (15kWh–46kWh) — scalable and flexible for larger homes and light commercial applications
Commercial & industrial storage systems — designed for factories, schools, restaurants, and EV charging stations
Visitors to our booth were particularly impressed by the safety features of our self-developed BMS, the long cycle life of our LiFePO4 cells (≥8000 cycles), and the flexibility of our modular designs. We also highlighted our recent expansion into the Ugandan market, with a local presence in Kampala that ensures faster delivery, on-site technical support, and simplified after-sales service.
3. Engaging Conversations and New Opportunities
Throughout the three-day exhibition, we engaged with a wide range of stakeholders:
Installers and system integrators interested in reliable, easy-to-install battery solutions for their projects
Distributors seeking partnerships to expand their renewable energy portfolios
Business owners and facility managers looking to reduce electricity costs and secure backup power
Government representatives and policymakers focused on advancing Uganda's energy transition goals
"Having a supplier with a local presence and technical backup makes all the difference for our projects."
The conversations reinforced what we have long believed: the demand for energy storage in East Africa is growing rapidly, and local support is essential for success.
4. Looking Ahead: Dawnice's Commitment to East Africa
Our participation at Power & Elec Uganda 2026 marks another step forward in our commitment to East Africa. With our new branch at Mirembe Villas – Kigo in Kampala, we are well-positioned to serve customers across Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and beyond.
We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who visited our booth, shared insights, and explored partnership opportunities. The connections we made during those three days are just the beginning of what we believe will be long-lasting collaborations.
We look forward to powering more homes, businesses, and communities across East Africa with safe, reliable, and intelligent energy storage solutions.
